Prepare yourself for a 1v1, all-factions, 128-player, Single Elimination Tournament that will take place on September 12th, 13th, & 14th, 2009. The first six Rounds will be Best-of-3 format, culminating in an epic Championship Final that will be, for the first time ever, Best-of-5!

For those of you who like to watch intense single knock-out games, here are the replay packs from the three Blitz tourneys (see links to tourney threads for more info: 1 2 3)
Some of the top players played in these tourneys, including:

Most other players were all level 10+, so all interesting matches i think.

Congratulations to Team Fruit, winners of the 2v2 GameReplays.org tournament held over the weekend. The final was played yesterday with Team Fruit facing Team SdKfz, and the best of three series did indeed go to three games as both teams played very well and traded wins in the first two games.
There are many fantastic replays available for viewing from this event, showing some great players in action. A good place to start are the after action reports from each of the days the tournament ran:
